Great Couple’s Romantic Door County Getaway!!!

If you’re looking for a relaxing romantic Door County getaway this is it! The resort is tucked back; away from the main road but still well located on the edge of Sister Bay. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. We had a lovely patio with chairs on which to sit and enjoy the peaceful water fountain and gardens overlooking the bay.

The resort had a variety of yard games, tennis, a well kept pool and hot tub. While they were full, we never felt crowded. There was plenty of space for people to relax as they wanted. A lovely breakfast was served in the morning with fresh warm scones, scrambled eggs and sausage and of course some of their amazing cherries with yogurt. It made for a great start to our day!

Our room was very lovely, with the best part being the patio to sit and enjoy the amazing views with a fresh cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It was an easy walk down to the private lake access. We were told it is not a bad walk into town. We walked part of the trail and it was a beautiful walk but usually drove to town. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back!

Room tip: You can walk to town from the inn either by trail or main road and avoid parking hassles.
