Absolutely loved my stay at the Country House Resort!

Cherries & the View at the Country House Resort

Our stay at the Country House Resort in Sister Bay was wonderful. We have been coming up for years. The times that we stay is early May (shops are open) and middle October (to see the fall colors) prior to the Sister Bay Fall Festival. The lake‑side rooms are peaceful and truly quiet, tucked off the beaten path with no traffic noise from Hwy 42. The property has beautiful grounds and a really nice pathway that leads down to the lakefront, plus the ability to walk into town through a wooded area, which feels like a hidden gem.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and up to date, and the staff (Darcy and Ben) is extremely friendly and accommodating. They want to share what makes Door County special. I loved the little touches, especially the yogurt and cherries at breakfast. If you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic place to stay in Door County, this resort is a perfect choice.
