Best place to stay in Door County

This is my favorite hotel in Door County, and have been coming here since they opened 30 some years ago. The resort sits on a bluff and the lake views from the rooms are amazing, the bed and pillows and new showers are terrific. I love the fact there’s a microwave and a kitchen in the room.

It’s very quiet as it sits on a large property and children under 13 are not permitted. Even in October we enjoyed the large hot tub. Was a little concerned because the buffet breakfast was not being offered but they had an amazing grab and go breakfast with lots of offerings to choose from. Staff were masked and put the items in a bag for you to take with you to heat up/eat in room or outside on property. Good Coffee and decaf were available all day and evening.

You can take a walk down to the water and walk into town. The staff are so nice. Reservations in plenty of time are a must. Bikes, canoes, and other items available for rent. Free movie rentals and lots of cable offerings on a rainy day. Comfy robes to wear to the hot tub and pool.
